Day 3 – Change is like a hurricane

Categories:Daily Update | PreTrail

Along with starting to prep for this adventure I am also packing up everything in my apartment to move into a house with my girlfriend. So that is quite a bit of change going on. The change is welcome but does bring quite of bit of excitement and anxiety to the mix.  Having a nice kitchen is a big plus as well as a back yard to be able to grill. Down side comes lawn mowing and other house upkeep. I honestly like the law mowing and yard work. In general being outside just makes me happy. Totally opposite from my day job.

One of the things I have noticed about moving is  how much junk you can collect living in the same place for a year or even two. Needless to say many trash bags of junk have been tossed out and many boxes have been packed up.  I have till the end of this month (June) to get it all packed up and moved out. The renovations on the house most likely will not be done by the time I have to move out so ill have to camp out on at a friends for a few days or weeks until it is done.

Doing very well not drinking soda of any kind. I am also limiting my portions of food at each meal to help cut back on the number of calories per meal. I have also been starting to choose healthier items on the menus.  Due to the move I have been packing up all of my kitchen items so the adventure into healthy cooking will have to wait a little bit.

Until Tomorrow.
