Time to grow up

Categories:Life | PreTrail

As I get closer to the trail I have to make some pretty tough decisions and think about some very adult things. Granted I am nearly 30 years old but still. Two of the things that I will need to have in order are a will and a power of attorney.  They are just precautions but they still need to be done.  I am lucky to be dating an attorney who will be able to help me get those completed.  It is thinking of things like that make me wonder what else I will need to make sure I have in order before I hit the trial.  I have a bank account specifically set up for trail expenses. I need to find a health insurance plan that will allow for such a trip that does not cost an arm and a leg. Coming up with a plan to pay bills while I am gone is another task that will need to be completed. The more of these things come up the more thankful I become for planning ahead.  Sure I could have just dropped everything and went on a hike but I would definitely not  feel very secure of things back home while on the trial.
