To Good To be True

Categories:Life | PreTrail | Website Update

A few days ago I posed that I had won several awards. Well sadly those awards are a scam.  They are trying to get people to push traffic to the website who awarded the awards.  After noticing other bloggers who have pulled the awards from their sites I have done the same. I do not feel that having those awards on the site makes me more or less credible. Also I am not going to willingly participate in a scam to get people to go to a website where they will be sold information and by buying the information have their personal info sold to hundreds of affiliate marketers and list sales companies. If you are planning a legit award or have one I apologize for my negative words and would love to be considered for your award however in the future I am going to be more leery of where the award comes from.

As the old saying goes if its too good to be true then it most likely is.

Happy Trails.
