Food Review: Growers Cup Coffee

Growers Cup Coffee Packets.

Growers Cup has come up with a great lightweight option into the back country coffee market.  They have a wide variety of different coffees from around the world. Kenya, Mexico, Honduras, Bolivia and many more.

Not initially intended for the back country the company quickly saw a great market to work with. The amount of water used and the great portability of the product is a perfect fit for hikes of any skill and length.

With 1/2 liter of water and each one takes anywhere between 5 – 10 minutes for you to have great coffee. Depending on how strong you would like the coffee the more or less time you allow it to brew.

To brew yourself a cup of coffee all you have to do is

  1. boil your water
  2. open the packet
  3. pull the red seal tab
  4. pour in your water
  5. zip the packet closed
  6. wait the allotted time.

You then have a fresh brew waiting to be enjoyed.

One of the best part is the packet has a built in filter to keep the grounds in and allow the coffee to be poured out. I have tried many of the varieties and to be quite honest they sure beat a Starbucks VIA instant packet any day.

Growers Cup  has just recently started selling in America and there are only a select few places to purchase it. To find out where you can buy the packets you can view the growers cup website here.
