Food Review – Augason Farms Dehydrated and Freeze dried Foods

Categories:Food Review

While researching Dehydrated and Freeze dried food companies I came across Augason Farms. Their prices were reasonable and I put in a small order to try out the food. I ordered everyday cans of peppers, chopped onions, chicken substitute, chicken broth, corn, and potatoes.

The very first meals I created was the  Fancy Fake Chicken Ramen. I honestly had not idea how the meal was going to turn out let alone how the dehydrated food from Augason Farms as going to taste. I mixed it all up  no spices at first let it sit for 15 minuets.  I gave it a try and was very surprised by the flavors of the food. I guess  I was expecting it to be very bland and no add much of anything to the already bland ramen.

If you are looking into buying some dehydrated foods for your next adventure I would take a look at the Augason Farms foods.

What brands of Dehydrated foods do you like and use?

Full Disclosure: The Augason Farms foods used in this review were purchased with my own money and the views expressed in this review are my own.
