Armchair adventures 50 great documentaries 1 – 10

I have been watching loads of adventure documentaries and I thought it would be a neat idea to share them all with you over the next few weeks in groups of 10.  They are not in any specific order of importance and this is not a top 50 list. These are simply the ones that I have enjoyed and wanted to share. Please comment with your favorites? Have I missed any that you like?

1. Long Way Round.

2. Ride the Divide.

3. National Geographic: Appalachian Trail

4. Morning Light

5. The Ride

6. Out of the Wild: The Alaska Experiment

7. Lewis and Clark: Great Journey West

8. Dust To Glory

9. Iditarod: The Great Escape

10. Running the Sahara

Adam Nutting relishes being an avid backpacker, hiker, and all-around adventure junkie. While he currently spends his time hiking in the backcountry of southern Arizona, he grew up in Missouri, where he was naturally inclined to spend as much time as he could outdoors. Adam’s passion for the outdoors grew as he climbed the ranks of the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts, eventually attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
