Food Review – HDX Hydration Mix

I am always up to trying new hydration drinks because well to be honest water can get very old very quick.  In today’s high sugar energy drinks that tout hydration and extra energy but end up actually leaving lacking in actually being hydrated and drained in a few hours.  To be very honest I was not impressed with this drink. I was unaware of the flavor when it was sent to me and to be honest I do not like artificially flavored grape anything.  I still kept an open mind and tried it.

photo(2)It did not taste horrible, but what got me was the after taste. I knew I had felt and tasted that after taste before, but I could not put my finger on it. I looked at the ingredients and it has Stevia in it. I had one of those “A HA” moments and went yep that’s it.

I think if there were other flavors I might be more inclined to give them a second try.  If this was sitting on the shelf at my local super market or gear store I would have passed on by simply because it said grape on the label. I always stick to orange or lemon lime flavored drinks.

Here is what is in the Mix.

Have you tried HDX? I would love to hear you thoughts.
