Road blocks and new adventures.

Categories:Life | Trips

We all have road blocks in life that cause us to question what we are doing or “what is next”. Is it truly possible to have no plan and be happy. Does having no plan provide freedom or create insecurities? For some this might scare them while others would embrace it such thoughts. Sometimes those road blocks are small like not feeling inspired to write or as large as a tragedy in life. No matter the size of item blocking our path it forces us to look at things differently and or ponder things we may have not been looking at.

I think this is why so many love adventures. Adventures give us a momentary freedom of not having a plan. If we do have a plan we go into it knowing that in an instant it can be blown all to hell.  No matter how we finish our adventure the real adventure happens between where you start and where you end. The question is where do you want it to end?

When this post is published I will have already been traveling for several hours heading to New Meadows Idaho. I will join with 8 other bloggers and social media friends to embark on an epic adventure. Hell Hike and Raft 2015 will have begun.  Follow the Adventure!

See you all in a week!

While he currently spends his time hiking in the backcountry of southern Arizona, he grew up in Missouri, where he was naturally inclined to spend as much time as he could outdoors. Adam’s passion for the outdoors grew as he climbed the ranks of the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts, eventually attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
