JBL Reflect Mini BT Bluetooth Headphones – Gear Review

Categories:Featured | Gear | Gear Review | Technology

I normally do not listen to music on the trail however every now and again it is nice. In years past headphones were bulky or fell out and you had to have them plugged in. Fast forward to today with technology continuing to get smaller and more and more devices being Bluetooth enabled. JBL has several different types of headphones that were created for the active person in mind. Light weight, rechargeable, and wireless. Easily connect them to your phone or Bluetooth enable device and stream music to them. I was looking for something that was light weight, easy to use and comfortable. I chose the JBL Reflect Mini BT wireless headphones.

JBL Reflective Mini BT Bluetooth Headphones

Going into testing these headphones I was honestly very skeptical. I was not sure I would like them considering that if wear a normal pair of earbuds for too long my ears begin to hurt. I put them in and wore them around my office while working the morning they arrived. They seemed comfortable at first but would they stay comfortable. The sound quality was quite good and the rubber insert that goes into your ear actually blocks a considerable amount of noise out. They are not noise canceling but close.

I found them to be extremely comfortable once I found the set of ear tips that worked the best. They were light weight and I would occasionally forget that they were there. The battery life was roughly two hours. They do charge by USB which would allow you to plug them into an external battery pack or your vehicle if needed. The buttons were easy to use and syncing it to my phone was very easy as well.
