Fee Free Days at National Parks Next Week – #findyourpark

Categories:News | Outdoor News

You might recall a post I did earlier in the year that announced the National Park Service was celebrating its 100 year anniversary. During that celebration in 2016 they were going to  have several Fee Free Days. Next week is one of those Fee Free times!  Everyone is invited to come celebrate our National Parks by waving entry fees.  America’s 412 National Parks will be fee free on August 25- 28th. Not all of the parks typically charge entrance fees, but of the 124 that normally do will allow you to save up to $30 in entrance fees.

NOTE: The Fee Free days allow visitors free admission to enter. This includes cars and commercial buses. Reservations, camping, tours, and concessions fees from third parties still require payment.

After August the last two dates that complete the 16 Days in 16 are  September 24th for National Public Lands Day and Veterans Day on November 11th.  Check out the full list of national parks you can visit for the 16 Days In 16.
