The kind folks at Valley Food Storage sent over three of their meals for me to test out. They sent over Pasta Primavera, Mango Habanero Chili, and Irish-Pub Style Cheddar Potato Soup. When I was first contacted I was expecting it to be another Backpackers Pantry or a frieze dried meal. These are all dehydrated and each package is Nitrogen flushed to help with freshness.

If there is a new PROBAR product to try or test out I am very eager to try them. I have reviewed the PROBAR Bite bars in the past and it is no surprise that the new BASE bars are just as delicious. When I pulled these out of the box I half expected them to each weigh a ton and feel like a brick. This was not the case. They were light but packed with 20 grams of plant proteins and other recognizable ingredients. The PROBAR BASE line is not new but they have added Chocolate Bliss and Coffee Crunch.
